Dermaplaning is a non-invasive method of skin rejuvenation, achieved by removing the top layers of dead skin, oil and debris with a medical grade tool. It's a great way to deeply exfoliate the skin without the use of harsh chemicals, making it suitable for most skin types.

Key Benefits

  • better absorption of skincare due to the removal of dead skin, oil and debris

  • stimulates new cell growth

  • improves superficial pigmentation and skin tone

  • improves the appearance of fine lines and pore size

  • suitable for sensitive skin and rosacea

  • removes vellus hair

  • instant results

LED Phototherapy

A non-invasive treatment for even the most sensitive skin. Using colour wavelengths of non-UV light to penetrate the skin at different levels, targeting specific areas. Benefits include the safe elimination of acne causing bacteria, is medically approved to help treat rosacea, helps treat eczema, psoriasis and broken capillaries, pigmentation and much more!

Will my hair grow back thicker?

Absolutely not! Peach fuzz grows out of a very shallow follicle and is simply not strong enough to grow back any thicker after removal. Your hair will grow back exactly the same as how it was beforehand.

Does it hurt?

Not at all - it's often likened to a stiff toothbrush gently rubbing on the skin. You may feel a low level of warmth from an LED treatment however, this is nurturing and in no way painful.

Do I have to keep getting it done?

If you have a particular skin concern you'd like to improve long-term, such as the correction of acne scars and pigmentation, treatment is advised every 4 weeks over a period of 3-6 months. To maintain regular healthy cell turnover, treatment is advised every 6 weeks. It's also perfectly fine to have just one session before a special occasion for flawless make-up application.

LED after a dermaplane helps heal the skin quicker, hydrate and reduce redness. Stand-alone LED is safe enough to be done weekly or fortnightly to maintain healthy skin.

How long does treatment take?

1hr 30m or 1hr for stand-alone LED

Can I put make-up on straight after?

Although there is very little down-time with dermaplaning, it is advised to give the skin 24hrs to renew following treatment. This will minimise the risk of bacteria from make-up tools setting in and causing irritation. There is zero downtime following stand-alone LED treatment.
